FISHING

Sea fishing is a popular activity all year long. We have got excellent opportunities for renting boats in different sizes.

Ice fishing on the fjord ice in Nord-Lenangsbotn is a great experience at winter time. To get there you can ski or go by snow mobile.

Skiing and snowboarding

When it comes to skiing and snowboarding the opportunities are endless. Make a trip to Storgalten (1200 m) for down hill skiing. Good possibilities for cross country skiing as well.

Hiking and biking

Have a look at the trails to get an idea of how wonderful hiking can be in Nord-Lenangen.

Kiting

During the winter the opportunities for ski kiting on ice are great. During the summer you may kite on the sea.

Rock climbing / glacier

It is possible to go rock climbing in the Lyngen alps or even hike to a glacier like Vaggas.

Horseback riding

Lyngen offers a great opportunity to go horseback riding in the forest and mountain areas if you have got a horse.
