Nord-Lenangen is a pearl in Lyngen municipality and is situated in Nord-Troms county 70 degrees north.

It will take you about two hours of driving to get to Nord-Lenangen by car. It is also possible to take the bus or a speed boat from Tromsø.

You may chose between an almost flat terrain in the northern part of Lenangen, or precipitous terrain in the Lyngen alps. They are about 1200 meters at their highest in Lenangen, and have got a spectacular view from the very top.

The summer in Nord-Lenangen offers fishing, hiking in forests and mountains, paragliding, diving, etc..

In the winter Lenangen offers skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowmobile trips. In addition to this you can see the aurora borealis (northern lights) when the sky is unclouded. There are also great possibilities for ice-kiting on the frozen lakes.

The Lenangen autumn gives you a symphony of colors, and at this time of year you can find various types of berries and mushrooms in the woods. Fishing is also possible, and the delicious fish meal can be enjoyed next to the bonfire at any time.

Spring in Nord-Lenangen is lovely when the sun is back after the polar night. Bushes and flowers grow and flourish with their magnificent colors. Animal life is reviving. The birds are singing and the sun is ascending higher and higher every day until the midsummer night is here..
